Timothy Celebrates National Lutheran Schools Week

Community: Being a part of something that is greater than ourselves. This has been the theme this month as I introduced you to our Heroes and our Teachers. Timothy Lutheran School is a community of many working toward one common purpose. This week, we recognize that we as a school are part of a much larger community, the National Lutheran Schools Association. As a part of that community, TLS is excited to participate in National Lutheran Schools Week, January 26 – February 1, 2020. This week provides nearly 2,000 preschools, elementary schools and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us in schools of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Pre-K through 8th grade, students are exposed to 13,869 hours of religious contact/instruction versus 266 hours of attending every Sunday School class! Over 15,000 hours, if you take into consideration four years of high school. Now that is something to celebrate!

Come and be a part of our community and share in the celebration of the Living Word manifest in our students and staff, as we are “Joyfully Lutheran.”

Joyfully His Servant,
Ken Holland
TLS Administrator

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.       1 Thess. 5:16-24
