2021 First Fruits totals $106,165.92 as of March 21. Thank you, Timothy! This represents half of the goal of $210,000.00 for 2021. First Fruits contributions moving forward through the remainder of 2021 will be designated for children & youth ministries’ programs/expenses and additional mortgage payments to Lutheran Church Extension Fund. May God be glorified!
Food Donations for March will be delivered to Jesu el Buen in KC. Pastor Eberhart reports that special needs include cereal, canned milk, peanut butter, canned tomatoes, canned fruit, and toilet paper. April donations are earmarked for BS Community Services League. Thanks for your ongoing support!

Timothy looks forward to the Hochgrebes moving to Blue Springs soon. Currently, their plan is for Robin and younger daughter Heidi to arrive during the week of April 11. Pastor Ryan will conclude pastoral duties at Mt. Olive on April 23 and then arrive in Blue Springs the last week of April.
Timothy’s Stephen Ministry provides support to those who are coping with a loss, struggling with a life change or on a health journey. Our new Stephen Ministry training begins in Sept. We ask that you prayerfully consider if God is leading you to serve in this way. Our current group number is low while the demand is high—for both men and women! Please contact the church office (816.228.5300) for more information and to sign up for Care 201 (Congregational Care Ministry), the 8-hour class which is a prerequisite for Stephen Ministry training. It will be offered beginning April 13 and again this summer.
As of this Sunday, Mar. 28, the weekly title will change but continue with same time and location (10:15-11:15am, Fellowship Hall RD Mize). This Sunday’s study will be “What is God’s Truth?” Led by Fritz Barlag. Watch for upcoming topics! See you there!
