As We Gather For Worship This Weekend

THEME: “Prophet Motive”

While we often may hold up Jonah as a hero, he’s anything but. While he eventually shares God’s message of repentance with the people of Nineveh, it’s done grudgingly and only after he’s been forced to do so via a giant fish. His story is a good reminder for us, as God’s modern people, as to why we share the Good News of the Gospel: we do so because it’s a reflection of God’s love for everyone.

Join the gang this week as we join Joshua and the walls that come tumbling down. Gordy is all dressed and excited about the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs playoff game… Go Chiefs!

National Lutheran Schools Week

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod   •   Jan. 24–30, 2021   •   Matt. 20:28

National Lutheran Schools Week provides more than 1,900 preschools, elementary schools and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us in schools of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

We thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the children we serve. We are most grateful for the opportunity to share Jesus’ amazing love with children and their families.

National Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to proclaim these great blessings within the communities we serve.

Our schools are amazing incubators for faithful witness of God’s love for us through Christ by teachers and students alike.

Annual Scholarship Auction

Join us in person or online!

Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks, and entertainment as we raise funds for the Timothy Lutheran School Ministries scholarship fund. Strict COVID precautions, including guest limitations, social distancing, and sanitizing stations will be in place. All guests will be required to wear a mask.  A special “Run for the Roses” mask will be provided for each In-Person ticket holder.

In 2020, we were able to bless our families with scholarship support in excess of $79,000! We believe that every child who wants to attend Timothy Lutheran School should have the opportunity. With your help, we hope to provide assistance for even more families in 2021.

Tickets for in person or virtual participation may be purchased by going to the Timothy Lutheran School website.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school, 816-228-5300.
