As We Gather For Worship This Weekend

THEME:  “Behind the Seens”

Often times, what’s going on behind the scenes is just as important as what we can actually see. Sometimes, it’s even more so! The apostle Paul touches on this idea in our reading from 2 Corinthians. Outward appearances can be deceiving. What’s going on in the unseen world is what really matters. And Paul encourages us to keep our hearts and minds fixed on what we can’t see, because when we do, we have strength to face the world that comes through faith in our unseen God.

Timothy Lutheran FaithRoots | Bible Event

Please Join Us for Live Well!

Once again, Timothy will host the Live Well Community Fair TOMORROW, June 5.  Please join us at the Wyatt Campus from 10am-2pm to get connected with resources that help us live healthy lifestyles.

New this year is Colonial Market with a display on growing your own vegetables, plus St. Mary’s Medical Center will provide blood pressure screening and have physicians available to answer questions. Other attractions include a fire engine, patrol car, members of the 501st Storm Trooper Legion, and let’s not forget Timmy Burgers!

But why should YOU attend?? Because you might learn of a resource that you or someone you know could use, and you will have fun in the process! This is a fantastic opportunity to explore community resources, so come on out tomorrow and see what you can learn—and buy a Timmy Burger to go!

Be sure to check out the complete listing of participating organizations and activities on Timothy’s website:

Wrapping Up Another School Year

This spring saw the wrapping up of the twentieth year of Timothy Lutheran School serving students and their families! Through the grace of God and the support of staff, students, parents, and Timothy church, we not only survived this past year of COVID-19, we THRIVED!

  • Thank you, staff! You demonstrated grace and patience while isolating in classrooms, keeping masks on while teaching, sitting with students during lunch, giving up instructional time to practice or record a performance, all while maintaining a team effort!
  • Thank you, students! You did an awesome job wearing masks as required, isolating in classrooms, working through all the changes to our day, respecting that we must keep everyone safe and continued to learn throughout.
  • Thank you, parents! You set the example by following changes in protocol while dropping off students and picking them up, helping your children at home with their work, and supporting the four mission projects throughout the year.
  • Thank you, Timothy Lutheran Church! Your unyielding support of TLS through this uncertain period gave us the strength to thrive.

A Year in Review:

  • Completed the $109,000 playground project through donations and fundraising.
  • Purchased 20 new student laptops with Cares Act Funds and donations.

  • Achieved record pre=-enrollment for 2021-2022 with 102 students in K-8 and 24 students in pre-school.
  • Completed National Lutheran School Accreditation on-site review with a positive team evaluation.

  • TLS Scholarship Auction:  A grand total of $29,000  was deposited into TLS Scholarship Fund!

Thank you to all who made a difficult year one that was blessed, humbling, and fruitful.
Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 5:20.
