Re-Opening Timothy Update
Yesterday, a core group of Timothy’s leaders met in an online meeting to discuss the plan for re-opening Timothy and its ministries.
Even though the Jackson County stay-at-home order will relax on Monday, May 11, we know there will be continued restrictions regarding the number of people allowed to meet in person. We also want to be good stewards of staff and volunteers’ time and the congregation’s financial resources.
Therefore, Timothy will continue with online worship at least through the end of May. The church buildings will also remain closed to all ministry activities during that time.
Timothy’s leadership will continue to monitor the situation, along with state and local regulations, in further discussions about when to re-open for in-person worship gatherings and events.
We thank you for your patience during this difficult time. We all long to be together again, but we also want to eventually gather safely.
In His Service,
Pastor Otte
