As We Gather For Worship This Weekend

THEME: The Shining Face

CREATIVE TENSION: When Moses came down from the top of Mount Sinai with the covenant, his face shone brightly because he had been in the presence of God. This shining face made the people around him uncomfortable to the point where Moses tried to cover it up. Unfortunately, we do the same thing. Rather than shine brightly, we try to hide God’s glory in our lives so that we blend in. But God calls on us to shine brightly so the world can see Him shining through us.

Join the gang this week as they share the story of Ruth in our Bible Event. We learn that God has redeemed us in Jesus.

Timothy’s next DivorceCare group will meet on Mondays, beginning March 1, from 6:30-8:30pm in Room 102, RD Mize. No cost for the program, but the workbook is $20. Appreciation from Lutherans for Life

“Thank you for your recent generous financial gift and for not ignoring abortion and physician-assisted suicide. Your offering testifies that the sanctity of life is not just a political controversy, public opinion, personal choice, or someone else’s problem. Thank you for not overlooking our unborn neighbors, the elderly ones, or persons with impairments as invisible. You are making it possible for us to proclaim how Almighty God creates, redeems, and calls every human life to be His precious treasure. Because of you, we get to put it into practice, seeing them each as a privilege and treating them as indispensable (1 Cor. 12:22).

In truth and love,
Pastor Michael Salemink
Executive Director of Mission & Ministry
Lutherans for Life”
