| | | | | Nobody loves to suffer. As a matter of fact, we spend a lot of money and energy trying to make our lives less difficult. And when suffering comes we have no problem voicing our dis-pleasures with God. But the author of Hebrew tells us that suffering has at least one purpose. What is it? Well join us and find out. |

| | | Who is the greatest? It’s a debate in sports circles, artist circles, fashion circles, and beyond. Even within the Scriptures, these debates are found: is Moses the greatest or is Abraham, is the law the greatest, or is grace even greater? On Sundays through May 11th, we will walk together through the book of Hebrews in a series called “Greater is He.” This book is a letter written to the church in Israel as they struggled to grasp the fullness of God’s victory in Christ. Chapter after chapter, we will see that Jesus is indeed greater than all things, all people, all promises. So join us by reading, worshiping, and being grounded in this eternal truth. Indeed, “Greater is He!” |

Join us on Wednesdays during Lent!
You are invited to join us in the Auditorium for Dining with Jesus, meals (6-6:30 pm) followed by worship (6:30-7:00 pm). |
|
|
Why around a table? Because that’s where our Lord often did some of His most important ministry. As a matter of fact, throughout the Scriptures, we see meals as a beautiful place where God does some amazing stuff. This year we will spend our worship/study time exploring the sacrificial system of the Old Testament as found in Leviticus 1-6. Yes, we are serious, and while we won’t be bringing animals to be slaughtered, you will be interactively involved in the series in some simple ways. Intrigued? Good! I’m pretty sure you won’t want to miss it as we dine together, grow together, and set our eyes on the greatest sacrifice, our Lord and Savior’s death.  This series will carry us through and be our reflection on Good Friday. Join us!

For nearly eight years, Janie Wilson has faithfully served as the instrumental music teacher at Timothy Lutheran School, bringing passion, dedication, and excellence to the program. Her commitment to music education has not only strengthened the school’s offerings but has also enriched the lives of students and the entire school community.
When Janie first took on the role, the instrumental music program had just six members. Through her enthusiasm, expertise, and encouragement, it has grown tremendously. Today, the program has expanded to the point where two classes are needed to accommodate the increasing number of students. Looking ahead, enrollment is expected to exceed 30 students in the upcoming school year—a true testament to Janie’s ability to inspire young musicians and foster a love for music |
|
| |
Beyond her contributions in music, Janie plays a vital role in the Timothy Lutheran School family. She regularly shares the Word of God with students and colleagues, living out the school’s mission in both word and action. Her presence is a blessing, and the impact she continues to have on students is deeply valued.
As Timothy Lutheran School looks to the future, the community is grateful for Janie’s leadership and dedication. Her efforts have not only shaped a thriving music program but have also instilled a lifelong appreciation for music and faith in the hearts of many students. |

| | Dear Timothy Lutheran Congregation,
We are overjoyed to share the incredible success of this year’s Aloha Nights, Timothy Lutheran School’s Annual Auction! With nearly 150 attendees, we raised an astounding $38,132.00 for the scholarship fund—an incredible reflection of the generosity and support of our sponsors and all who attended.
The evening was filled with joy, fellowship, and a shared commitment to investing in our students' education. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated scholarship committee leads—Brandi Erisman, Carrie Green, Clancy Heisel, and Katee Meyer—whose hard work and dedication made this event possible.
If you enjoyed this year’s auction, we invite you to join us again next year and bring a friend! Together, we can continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students. |

Did you worship on Sunday? Did you experience the joy ofbrass during Beautiful Savior? Did you hear the young voices of the Living WordMusic Tour students? Did you fill your house with the sound of girls giggling? Those were just a few wonderful experiences God placed in our lives this past weekend.
|
|
| As a church body, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the support and kindness shown during the time Living Word was in Blue Springs. Our Timothy family welcomed them into their homes, helped with a Fellowship/ Worship evening and embraced them at both Sunday worship ervices. As Jan Koopman said, “You have exceeded our expectations.” Timothy made a remarkable difference, enhancing the music tour for these 24 young people.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.
Pastor Ryan and the music Ministry Team. |

Come experience the Lord’s Prayer in a whole new way.  On your journey, you will use all five of your senses to learn more about the prayer Jesus taught.  There will be no physical guide along your path.  How you experience each step along the way is up to you.  However, there will be an M.A.P. of sorts for you to follow.  At each of the nine stations, there will be three things for you to do:  M – meditate, A – an activity, and P – Prayer. Â
The Prayer Journey will be open from 9 AM – 3 PM with timed entry slots available every 20 minutes. You are free to move at your own pace, either individually or as a family.  All ages are welcome.  Come and join us.  You won’t regret it.
