Saturday May 12: Color Run (Arrowhead Stadium parking lot)

TBD (approximately 7:00AM – 11:00AM; we will meet around 7:00AM to carpool to the event)

What better way to start your Saturday morning than by running 3 miles and getting covered in colorful chalk? Follow this link if you want to join us at Kansas City’s Color Run. It’s a benefit to support Camp Kesem (a free summer camp for children who have been impacted by a parent with cancer). It is $29.99/person and includes a t-shirt, medal, tattoos, and color.

Anyone is welcome to join (parents, siblings, friends- there’s no age limit). We will definitely need some adults to join as this is a crowded event. After the race, we will hang out for a bit and enjoy a couple snacks, live music, and more color explosions!!! You WILL get dirty; however the chalk is easily washed off most items. Let Amber know if you plan to attend so we can determine a time/place to meet.

Wednesdays at 6:30 – 7:30pm at the north campus in various rooms (September – April including through Advent and Lent) Join us for in-depth study and discussion of what it means to be a Christian and what the Lutheran church teaches. Students have teaching time, discussions, social events as well as opportunities to serve in the community as we discover what it means to be a disciple. This ministry prepares students to become members of the Timothy and the Lutheran Church. Timothy also provides opportunities for service to the community, retreats as well as fellowship and recreation.
