A Quarterly Newsletter from Timothy Lutheran Ministries
After an extended winter, summer has arrived, and we find our calendars filled with vacations and celebrations. People today are always on the go, often not taking time to enjoy the simple things in life. We get tired, exhausted and utterly worn out. As life’s demands break us down, we long for an avenue of survival. However, it’s about our need to rejuvenate, not just survive!
During June, our worship series theme will focus on just that: REJUVENATE. We urge everyone to take a break to rejuvenate our lives and faith, as we RENEW, REFOCUS, REJOICE and REDEDICATE. A journal for 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting will be provided during the second week to help us concentrate on this process.
We begin by remembering we’re RENEWED in our baptism and given new life every day to live out our faith. We’ll discover how to REFOCUS our lives on what’s important as we keep our eyes focused on Jesus. We’ll rediscover the joy we have as God’s children, knowing our Father loves us and takes care of us, providing us good reason to REJOICE. Together we will REDEDICATE our whole selves to God, acknowledging that ultimately we’re His people, belonging completely to Him.
Don’t let another summer go by only to look back and realize it was filled with endless busy-ness. Commit yourself to this four-week series and the 21 Days of Prayer and Fast. Be REJUVENATED!
Join us on Wednesday, June 6, at 7:15 pm in the Sanctuary for an introduction to the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting Journal.
