Ellen Dalzell
My name is Ellen Dalzell.
I am a "transplanted" Southerner...born in Pensacola, Florida. At
age eleven, my family moved to North Carolina. It was here that I attended
college and began my teaching career. Subsequent moves and teaching assignments
took me to Florida, Kentucky, and Virginia.
Thirty five years of teaching and many moves later, I find myself living in
Oak Grove, Missouri and happily serving as a part-time educator at Timothy
Lutheran School.
Other than my role as teacher, I am mother to two adult children. My son is
a professional chef in Kansas City, and my daughter is a professional photographer
in Jefferson City. I am also a proud grandmother to five exceptionally wonderful
grandchildren.
In addition to parenting, grandparenting, and teaching, I enjoy gardening,
reading, traveling, and spoiling Bella, my cute four-legged canine companion.
I am affectionately referred to as "The Frog Lady" at Timothy for
my extensive collection of various kinds of frogs. They are a constant reminder
to... F.R.O.G.—— FULLY RELY ON GOD.
