We support the many pregnant teens and young ladies who find themselves in a dire situation or without a home, this Christian ministry was established locally to serve these women.

Community Services League (CSL) has been providing service to those in need since 1916. It began in a Christian Bible study class with Bess Truman (wife of former President Harry Truman) as an active member. This is a service agency providing a broad range of services for the low income people in a wide area which covers all of Eastern Jackson County.

In the Kansas City metro, this is the only nursing home affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod located in Belton, Missouri. This home offers a distinct Lutheran atmosphere with weekly Lutheran worship.

Transitional Housing offers displaced families a disciplined educational program within a caring Christian environment. Unlike many organizations whose focus is immediate or emergency care, Hillcrests objective is to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 90 days.

Lutherans For Life is a pro-life, pro-family ministry. It is neither a church body nor a denomination but a voluntary organization of "For Life" individuals. Their mission is to witness to the sanctity of human life through education, sermons, and materials based on the Word of God. Their vision is to be a powerful, Biblical, pro-life voice and resource to Lutherans and, through them, to transform society.

LCMS World Mission and the Missouri District are involved to help meet the needs of people in North Korea, to demonstrate the love of Christ in deed, and to gain a positive image as Lutheran Christians among the people in North Korea in order to develop long-term relationships for future work. The Missouri District in convention (in 2009) agreed to support LCMS World Mission in its work in North Korea. The LCMS has the opportunity to work in a humanitarian aid and agricultural development project on four farms and these villages south of the capital of Pyongyang.

This is a Recognized Service Organizationof the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. “The Apple of His Eye is an equal opportunity involver: Gentiles are welcome to join in the adventure of telling the world that Jesus is the Messiah!” This ministry reaches out to the Jewish people to share the good news of Jesus. This is a recognized service organization of The Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod. It is an international mission society dedicated to reaching out to Muslims and other ethnic groups with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Its director is Rev. Faruch Khan, an LCMS pastor. POBLO began in 1992 and is now the largest mission society in the LCMS. POBLO currently has missions established in over 14 districts of the LCMS, as well as in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India.

This is an independent Lutheran missionary enterprise. Established in August 1965 in Nogales, Arizona, its primary purpose is to be a missionary training school to send missionaries into the world. This organization has missionaries in Mexico and India. In India they are training indigenous missionaries who live on $30 month (American dollars.) Rev, Louis Escobedo is director of this organization and is an ordained minister of the American Association of Lutheran Churches which is in fellowship with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

This is an inner city church in Kansas City Missouri with outreach to its community of mainly African and Hispanic cultures. Pastor Brad Zerkel leads the ministry team as they endeavor to reach all who come to their doors with the Gospel of Christ. They have a soup kitchen every Sunday which is served after a brief afternoon service.

This Hispanic congregation is served by Pastor David Loza. This church reaches out to the Hispanic community with the good news of Jesus Christ. They need outside support to survive in downtown Kansas City. They have a food pantry and provide financial aid assistance to those in need.
