Lyle Knauer

Lyle is our Facilities Maintenance Manager. He has been married since 1965 to a wonderful lady, Jennifer. They have three children, and five grandchildren. Their daughter and her children are also members of Timothy. Lyle was brought to the church by his sister and brother-in-law, Mable and Norman Lee. Lyle and Jennifer felt very much at home at Timothy, so they stayed and have been members of Timothy since 2002.

In the last year or so he has been having very strong feelings that he needed to be doing more for Timothy and applied for the vacancy at Timothy. Lyle is a retired police officer who worked for 20 years in St. Louis and is very committed to doing a good job for the church.

According to Lyle, others can get involved in Facility Maintenance if they like fixing things around the house. He says, “Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. The Lord will guide you and if you trust him, he will not let you get in over your head.”
