Parents and students are required to attend an information meeting with the pastors on Wednesday, August 26th, at 7:00 pm at the R.D. Mize Campus in the Sanctuary. If you are unable to attend, please email Pastor Rod at RodL@TimothyLutheran.com prior to the meeting.
To help the student gain a deep understanding of worship and the hearing of God’s Word, we student is required to submit 12 completed SERMON SUMMARY FORMS prior to the completion of the year. Students may report from other churches provided a bulletin is submitted with the form. Students in 8th grade who do not complete this requirement by April 7, 2021 will not be allowed to participate in the Rite of Confirmation.
Serving God and His people is one way we can give God thanks for all He’s done in our lives. Part of the confirmation process includes helping students give of their time and talents for their church. Each student is required to complete “one” of the following during the confirmation year:
Acolyte a minimum of 3 services. Have the pastor sign a blank sermon note stating you served as an acolyte for the service attended. Include date & time of service.
Serve as a volunteer in an event at Timothy. Submit a 250+ word report on what you did and your experience. Include the Date, Location and Time.
Participate in a service project around the church with an adult. Submit a 250+ word report on what you did and your experience. Include the Date, Location and Time.
