On my mind, in my heart…
Children’s ministry is continually growing and changing. Our goal is
to support families as they nurture the faith to their children. With families’
crowded schedules, it is easy to let God, and church, get lost in the busyness.
We pray for families, that they may keep God first in their lives.
I feel blessed to be part
of Timothy’s ministry to children and their families. We would love
to welcome many more children into our midst. It is with great joy I see the
seed of faith sprout and grow in our children. I am often moved to tears at
each baptism, the celebration of milestones and as children praise their Lord.
I feel privileged to witness God’s work in the lives of all His children.
I see Jesus in the early childhood and elementary school teachers as they
lovingly care for their students. I am overwhelmed by the dedicated VBS, CrossWalk
and Mid-Week volunteers who share their time and talents teaching His precious
children. I pray more people are moved to serve God in Children’s Ministry.
There is great joy in serving the Lord, especially in passing on the faith
to our children. The benefits are eternal!
